Let's recall that Danka was left unattended in the yard of the house in Banjsko Polje, when her mother went to fetch water for Danka's brother.

An extensive search for the girl from Bor lasted for ten days, her parents cooperated with the police for days, and the video from Vienna showing two Romanian women with a girl who looks like Danka turned out to be a false hope.

The tragic news that the little girl is dead was announced on Thursday by the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, who said that two people had been arrested and had confessed to the crime.

Then it became known that the suspects S.J. and D.D. from the surrounding villages, with an company's vehicle, hit a girl who wandered to the road, put her in a trunk and threw her in the landfill.

It turned out, as the Minister of Police said yesterday, that one of the two later moved the body, which is still being searched for.

Excavators are still searching for the body

At the landfill where the body of Danka Ilić is being sought, police forces have been digging again since this morning in two parts, the upper and the lower.

Access is still prohibited, and the trucks are only taking turns. Police secure both approaches. The excavator that is working on digging up the garbage is going lower and lower down the slope while the forest is being cleared in parallel, reports Blic.

The father of one of the suspects in Danka's murder, R.D. said that the police also took his other son away for questioning.

"If he is guilty, let him answer, and the court will determine that. They also took my younger son to the police for questioning. I am a heart patient, yesterday the ambulance came to help me, if I hadn't taken medicine, I wouldn't have been able to go to the gate to get out," R.D. said.
