Vučić in Ljubovija: I won't allow 100 percent of raw materials to be exported! Salaries in Loznica
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, talks to those who are in favor and against the lithium mine in Ljubovija.
President referred to the topic of salaries in Loznica.
"I am the one who did the most for Loznica. The benefit for the country is huge for the whole country, not only for Loznica. The greatest benefit is for Loznica. No less than 900 to 1,000 people will work in the mine alone, and the average salary in Loznica is 657 euros. When it was 540 euros, I said that no one should have less than 900 euros a month. Do you know how much the average in Loznica would increase on that basis? One thousand euros, plus taxes, that's one million and 600 times 12 months, that's 20 million euros. We want the whole chain, and this is the basic part," said Vučić.

He says that he is already negotiating with many others, and preliminary agreements have not yet been made regarding the cathode factory.
"It is the most important link between mines and batteries, we are already talking to Koreans, Japanese and many others. Much more powerful directors are coming to us. I talked to Macron, AC France is interested. It is one of the biggest battery factories in Europe. We would have more car manufacturers by now," he explained.
"Our main obligation is to export raw materials. I do not allow 100 percent of raw materials to be exported. I allow up to 12.9 percent. 87.1 percent must be in Serbia and processed, and what has the highest price can go abroad," he continued.
He says that the Loznica budget would hit the sky.
