Vučić received a letter from Xi Jinping: "China and Serbia are committed to prosperity"

In the letter, Xi emphasized that he attaches great importance to the development of Chinese-Serbian relations and that he is ready to make efforts with him to jointly strengthen strategic communication and continuously strengthen the mutual political trust of the two countries at a high level, the Office for Media Relations of the President of the Republic of Serbia announced today.

In the letter, Xi also states that he is ready to make an effort and to fully release the potential of cooperation in all areas, to improve the construction of the community of China and Serbia with a common future in the new era, in order to contribute even more to the process of modernization and the well-being of the people of our two countries.

At the same time, he thanked Vučić for the congratulatory letter on the occasion of the Chinese Lunar New Year and emphasized again that China and Serbia are connected by steely friendship that is deeply rooted in people's hearts.

"During last year's successful state visit to Serbia, we exchanged opinions in detail and reached a broad consensus. We jointly announced the construction of a China-Serbia community with a common future in the new era, which raised China-Serbia bilateral relations to a new historical level. Faced with a complex world situation, China and Serbia are committed to the prosperity and development of their countries and the firm preservation of international justice and fairness, which contributes to strengthening the forces for building a community with a common future for humanity. Your Excellency, I extend my best wishes to you," the Chinese leader said in the letter.
