Russia ready for a showdown

"This will be discussed at the OSCE ministerial meeting in Stockholm on December 2 and 3," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today after talks with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde from Sweden.

"It is in our interest to make progress at the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm in early December. We briefly discussed the draft resolution with the Swedish president and the work is currently underway. Russia contributed to the package of laws on financial documents at the ministerial meeting. Now we will propose a declaration on the fight against the way in which terrorists use the Internet," Lavrov said, TASS reports.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moscow wants all OSCE resolutions to help unite the members of this organization in order to respond to the common challenges as strongly as possible.
