Peggy, you are right and if it is from the very hatred of Croats…
President Grabar-Kitarovic, in an exclusive, commented today that the withdrawal of the Croatian Ambassador in Belgrade "hasty decision and inconsiderate decisions". - Croatian President: I think you should calm the situation because the current situation does not go to the benefit of the interstate and good neighborly relations between the Croatian and Serbian - Croatian President.
Croatian President. "I can not help feeling that this withdrawal of ambassadors in part conditioned by the fact that we are in an election year. This move from Pusić and Milanović is used to create some problems for all of us because of their own interests. Policy should not be formed in this way" you see Peggy you are right sometimes.

Ustaše this, Ustaše that… The Ustasha does not exist! how long will you beat this dead horse? The Ustasha are forbidden in Croatian and it is humiliated word which describes Croatians that is provocation of Croatian people… As the Chetniks should be for Serbia. Ustasha: Is Serbian propaganda that spreads hatred serves no one Croats or Serbs alike. Serves only crooks who ride this propaganda for themselves and their interest. Soon as Serbia learn its history without lies and propaganda sooner you will be shifted forward with other successful, advanced nations of the worlds and out of the Balkans.

Burning flags? Common all around the world? You mean must it's a common thing for radical Muslims and Islamists in countries of the middle east and Asia? Maybe in Australia, too, but I can tell you that it's far from common in western and middle Europe.

Only because they've got better flags :)

Croatia has anti-Serb and anti-semite racists on their money. Just look at the 1000 kuna bill with Ante Starcevic.

So a their flag burned. Doesn't bother me.

Oh dear, the Croatians are so insulted that they had to recall their man.
What a cheap political stunt.
Seselj is not in government so if they are going to react this way every time someone says bad things against them and burns their flag they will need a revolving door.
This sort of thing happens all over the world and if everyone got so angry every time nobody would keep any relations with anyone.
I agree, this is in poor taste but this is a common thing all over the world.
Croatia should behave like a serious country if they want to be taken seriously. Seselj has no power. He has some supporters but then everyone who organises a protest has supporters. Do we recall ambassadors every time a flag gets burned anywhere in the world?
A US flag gets burned every day, including in the US itself.

Burning flags is stupid but Croatia should just shut up. They can't even put up a street sign in Serbian without Ustasha savages going crazy. Seselj's antics draw in a few hundred people, in Croatia such events draw in several thousand. Sometimes even more when the Nazi rockstar Thompson is in town.

Other than that, there is a trade imbalance. Croatia sells far more to Serbia and Croat companies have access to Serbia's market in ways that Serb companies just don't have in Croatia. It would undoubtedly hurt Croatia more to get into a dispute right now.

The only thing Croatia can "do" is stall Serbia's EU membership. And even if they didn't, Serbia would still not be joining anytime soon. and good
