Serbia marks another anniversary of NATO attacks

Firstly it's KOSOVO. And secondly you stole land from Serbia. i am Maltese/ Australian and if anything like that happened here, a minority group claiming part of our land as their own we would do what Serbia did but we would succeed in keeping our land without the illegal help nato and un gave you. Serbia had every right to destroy albanians pity they didnt do a better job!

May the innocent victims rest in peace while the criminal perpetrators join Holbrooke and his ilk in eternal damnation.

Serbian people are no victim of this action since they suported The Milosevic regim wich killed thousands Albanian civilian in Kosova. The serbian people just got an taste of their own medicine.

Only the strongest military alliance in the world could physically remove Serbian institutions from Kosovo-Metohija, sure as hell no KLA rats who dug themselves holes to hide until NATO came to help. Every Albanian extremist that comments on here knows in their hearts that they could not, and cannot win in a military conflict against Serbia without NATO acting as their air force.

Why would the Serbs care for Albanians when NATO killed more with their bombs and left depleted uranium in Kosovo, but they paid for it to be cleared in Serbia proper. There is no depleted uranium in Serbia but plenty in Kosova. With allies like that Milosevic was kinder.

Even though it might sound bad because of the civilian killed I still have to say well done NATO. After what Serbia did to Kosovars even way before the war it's nothing compared to what NATO did in Serbia. Serbia deserved much more damage in military personnel and equipment and I think they got off lightly to be honest. Imagine drunk soldiers roaming round Kosova as the pleased, it was a hell for civilians in Kosovo. Thank you NATO for saving thousands of life's. I hope Serbia learned its lesson.

I opposed the bombings at the time, but I was working in Tuzla, Bosnia and most of the Bosnians I worked with were very enthusiastic about the bombings because of what happened to them only a few years earlier. Most of them felt that "now they(Serbs)know how it feels" and celebratory gunfire was heard all night.

You have NATO soldiers who served in Kosovo that claim to be suffering diseases caused by depleted uranium and authorities denying there is a link simply because it would open a “pandoras box” to compensation.
Perhaps you want to claim that depleted uranium causes all the illnesses and deformed children in Iraq, but that does not occur simply because Kosovo is in Europe. When you add 2+2 it always equals 4 not 74.

Please go back and read my posts carefully, as you've confused me with another individual. My (Amnesty Yugoslavia) writings make no reference to Serbs or Russians, or any other ethnic group for that matter. The only descriptor associated with the victims in my comment was "innocent".

My siblings are not Russian. However, as an offspring from a mixed marriage, I do have siblings, cousins and relatives with colorful heterogeneous backgrounds.

The difference is that you have to change the words for them to have a meaning in albanian while kosovo is a serbian word just as it is.

1. The amount of Deleted Uranium left in Kosovo in 78 days of bombing is not nearly the same amount as the Iraq after 10 years.

Great news!! If this is all KiM needs, then KiM should move on with providing some safety and prosperity to its impoverished population.
I assume that the majority of the planet's population which include major population centers such as China and India and close to 100 hundred other countries who have given no diplomatic recognition is as irrelevant to you as the geographic fact (source: UN map of the World) that KiM is an integral part of of Serbia's sovereign territory. In Iraq people suffer high rates of various cancers and large numbers of children have terrible birth defects and pre being freed from tyranny these numbers were low, but Kosovo does not suffer from those affects because its not in an official report. And yet every article on that subject points to the Iraqi direction.
Medical experts from western countries have all said that what happens in Iraq happens in all countries which have depleted uranium. As I said before maybe its the shield of freedom and democracy that protects the Kosovars.

I opposed the bombings at the time, but I was working in Tuzla, Bosnia and most of the Bosnians I worked with were very enthusiastic about the bombings because of what happened to them only a few years earlier. What’s so surprising about not being on “this list?” If no data is submitted then there is no data to include in a report. All of the information that is in that report is provided voluntarily by individual countries. Kosovo is controlled by the west so very little comes out that they do not allow.
Despite the Iraqi government sending all the information its mainly ignored by the west and rarely mentioned in the media – when was the last time you read about this in your local paper? However, the medical profession totally accepts that Iraqis are suffering from the depleted uranium.
You have NATO soldiers who served in Kosovo that claim to be suffering diseases caused by depleted uranium and authorities denying there is a link simply because it would open a “pandoras box” to compensation.
Perhaps you want to claim that depleted uranium causes all the illnesses and deformed children in Iraq, but that does not occur simply because Kosovo is in Europe. When you add 2+2 it always equals 4 not 74.

Please go back and read my posts carefully, as you've confused me with another individual. My (Amnesty Yugoslavia) writings make no reference to Serbs or Russians, or any other ethnic group for that matter. The only descriptor associated with the victims in my comment was "innocent".

My siblings are not Russian. However, as an offspring from a mixed marriage, I do have siblings, cousins and relatives with colorful heterogeneous backgrounds.

Oh, OK so a territory's ownership can be determined by just looking at its name. Great, so that territory that today is called Kosovo can easily become Albanian tomorrow; all it takes is its residents deciding to change its name to an Albanian name hahaha

dear all, i think that any comment will be too much. from both sides people suffered and i agree. one thing was confusing. history. by the way, we all have to forget, and to show to each other respect and look in the future.I am from Serbia but I like many other people think that this all bad things was created by politicians, not by common people.

Why didn't Usa and Russia entered in to conflict at the start of the war,like they did for Ukraine last year.There would be less civil casualties and less war crimes on civilians.EU was to inferior and let them to kill each other for 5 years.I hope so EU and world learned a lesson from that conflict.If world doesn't pay a big attention to chauvinists,they could pull the civilians in to civil war again.Where is poverty,unemployment,corruption,there is the best environment for chauvinists to start their wars in every country.

Odd? NATO apologists have said that KiM achieved prosperity after the bombing and attained quasi-Utopian status in 2008. Why do you now ask for a grant of prosperity? And who pray tell are you now demanding to "grant" this prosperity?

Don't belive, ask somebody who speak Albanian, there will be someone who speak Albanian in Serbia. There are to many other but i have no time right now to mention.
By the way, you will find also an Ilirian ( albanian ) word that they refer to Kosovo.

1. The amount of Deleted Uranium left in Kosovo in 78 days of bombing is not nearly the same amount as the Iraq after 10 years.

2. The UN has actually examined this issue, and while the results were early the findings are pretty specific.

Great news!! If this is all KiM needs, then KiM should move on with providing some safety and prosperity to its impoverished population.
I assume that the majority of the planet's population which include major population centers such as China and India and close to 100 hundred other countries who have given no diplomatic recognition is as irrelevant to you as the geographic fact (source: UN map of the World) that KiM is an integral part of of Serbia's sovereign territory. Great news! Who cares! Please call Brussels and inform them immediately there is no need for any more charades and "negotiations" and that KiM does not care what Serbia and others think. icj1 has solved the problem. Yes, who cares!

Please proceed with improving the lives of the innocent and suffering population of KiM. I bet that even fewer people of these lands care about your country count and many more are worried about feeding themselves and raising their families.
