Serbia will get more respect from and more leverage with the EU if it abstains from joining the EU and instead negotiates an agreement similar to the one which exists between Switzerland (or Norway or Lichtenstein) and the EU. Serbia's best outcome will be a sort of middle-ground between EU and Russia.

I agree. People wanted changes... So why should stay different (old) coalitions in different cities? New government which makes SNS i SPS, showed strong will to make that changes and positive effects of their work we can already see. So... They should make changes everywhere where is possible...

Hmmm, this does not sound very democratic to me. Weren't there some elections back in May? If opposition Artie's received votes to stay in office on the local level, then s be it. Otherwise this smells of dictatorship, and a return to the 90's - but the guys in the ruling BG government are from the 90's, aren't they?

"Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Presidency members have agreed that the local-self governments should be changed in accordance with the republic model."

Who can find the contradiction in this sentence first?
