The US alone will reach over 17 trillion in debt by Christmas this year and the US economy has not grown from 14 trillion to 15 as they seem to report in the free media – I have never seem a contraction going in the positive. Here is something more for you, Mitt Romney made a statement that he should have; he said that by early next year (January 2013) the US will experience an even worse economic conditions “we are going deeper into the recession”. Naturally during an election year the freedom loving US government will continue to cook the books to make it look good.

Well at least Albania is a member of NATO, they can say such things. Whether Russia is Serbia's ally is debatable, it's not 150 years ago and NATO are not the Turks. When Serbia gets into it with the West, Russia doesnt help. I understand you guys are greatful for them saving your behind vs the Ottomans but they basically did nothing for you guys during the Yugoslav Wars. I'm grateful for what the Red Army did in WW2 too, modern Russia is as much the US's ally as they are Serbias...be careful writing checks with your mouth that you cannot cash, if another confrontation happens I think you know Russia will not come to the rescue.

Not sure what the big fuss is about.... Russia, China & co have mandated KFOR to ensure freedom of movement in Kosovo and hence KFOR removed something that was preventing movement; simple as that. Those who don't like that can go and complain to Russia, China & co.

You don’t want to replicate Krajina. Just pay attention to Croatia today. Watch what Croatia has to do to repair the damage done by the likes of Gotovina. Zoran Milanovic did not come to power by accident – he was put there to start the ball rolling. Look at Josipovic, he was also placed as President. Croatia is not able to survive so it has to connect itself to Belgrade. Now as far as Kosovo goes……you can answer it yourself.

However having said that, what you see in Kosovo today is only part of a game that the west thinks it can play. You see these events did not just occur randomly but you can track them clearly and they started right after Nikolic went to Moscow to attend Putin’s ceremony.
The question you have to ask is when will Vlad give the green light for the Serbs to take action? That is what the west fears.
NATO/KFOR/EULEX/REFLUX and all the other XXXs know that to do what you are suggesting would create an all out war situation and let this little old provocateur tell you something, the west is neither prepared nor has the capacity of the 1990s. Living off loans from China and Russia is not an ideal situation to start something you cant finish.

While studying International Relations at a top UK university I can say that I fully agree with GreaterSerb, this proposal is fully justifiable.

Having studied int relations at a top US university, it's clear that Nikolic has Just War cause to militarily invade Kosovo. However unbalanced power-play by NATO complicates this, thus the north should be integrated with Serbia.
The next talk should focus on resolving this issue so both sides can move on. Therefore I would propose the most logical:
All of Northern Kosovo stays in Serbia, including ALL of Kosovska Mitrovica. Gracanica becomes a UN-protected town, and the Republic of Kosovo gets full control of the rest, with full rights to the minority Serbs.
This compromise, I believe every moderate would agree to, and most importantly US/NATO would.
A small part of me believes even the Serbian leadership would. However I am almost certain Albanian leadership wouldn't.
This leads us to the hypothetical ultimatum: if Hasim Thaci rejects the deal, then Serbia will militarily intervene into Northern Kosovo with the blessing of NATO. Then Thaci can freely attempt a conflict in which the albanians will lose, and the Serbian military will have the opportunity to invade assert military authority over the rest of Kosovo.
(And P.S. If Thaci were to attack, NATO/US troops would declare neutrality and relinquish Kosovo)

Once again, this shows that KFOR and EULEX are no longer welcome in northern Kosovo. It is time for them to leave the four municipalities and return control to Serbia. It is majority Serb and should become part of central Serbia. There is no valid reason to prevent this. The people's will must be respected. That would be the 'democratic' and 'European' thing to do. Serbia should ask KFOR and EULEX to withdraw from the north and allow Serbian police to operate there. To the internationals in the north: Please leave NOW!

Was there a particular reason for KFOR to shoot into the crowd? Were they conducting another arrest or did they decide June 1 is Serb hunting season? The article doesn't say. It only writes about the violence and NATO once again condemning the violence against their own personel. And the fact that there were 60K paramilitary, police,etc., (more so then the NATO invasion) that never even followed the laws of the then Yugoslavia but instituted their own form of the law and did all kinds of things to the minority Albanians of Yugoslavia then what happened today. I just watched the short video to this story. It looks like a NATO tank is trying to cross a small bridge, and unarmed Serbs are not allowing it to pass. Why on earth are the troops firing their guns? Yes, it is in the air, but why fire at all? No one was attacking them. I see this as Western intimidation, trying to force Nikolic's hand, to see his response. He has stated that he will not be as agreeable as Tadic was, so the game of cat and mouse continues. The only difference is, we have a bunch of Serbian peasants, against the world's number one killing machine. What happened to dialogue?

Why don't you go for a visit first and understand the situation on the ground? Firstly, go to Northern KiM and you will see it is fully integrated into Serbian structures. Then go for a visit to the South and observe all of the destroyed churches, desecrated graves and speak to Serbs attempting to return home who are harassed/shot by K*-Albanians.
Maybe then you will realise it is not the Serbs who are preventing peace but the K*-Albanians. They don't want to compromise, they want everything and to change the reality on the ground by intimidation. They won't stop in KiM either, they want FYROM also.
Do some research into allegations of the worst kind against the leaders of these people and you will again see, how can anyone negotiate with them? In a normal democracy, if such allegations were made, people resign from their position until it is cleared up.
Anyway, the West made a complete mess of the Balkans and have set the region back decades.

KFOR has long been gentile to the criminal cells of Serbs, who are responsible for the erecting of barricades in main roads of northern Kosova. It should be noted that local Serbs are really suffering from the criminal activities of those criminal cells: a Serbian mate of mine who used to live in Zubin Potok told me that his village is occupied by a multitude of Serbians who have come from Belgrade. A large number of local Serbs are more keen to admit the authority of Prishtina but they are scared to tell out the truth because criminal cells may wipe out them. I am mostly blaming KFOR for doing nothing in eliminating these criminals: I imagine if NATO were in Afghanistan or elsewhere, they would burn alive locals if they erect any barricade. I wonder why they tolerate so much serbian criminals? Are they a chosen people or what? In last instance, Prishtina should immediately intervene in north to protect its serbian citizens.

This is BS! A lot of KFOR soldiers feel sympathy for the serbs( Christianity/ Orthodox ) and there for they are not going hard on them. They take few hits to the body, some
Stones, bullets etc and they ( KFOR ) shoot back but not to kill! even if their life is on the line.

Once again, this shows that KFOR and EULEX are no longer welcome in northern Kosovo. It is time for them to leave the four municipalities and return control to Serbia. It is majority Serb and should become part of central Serbia. There is no valid reason to prevent this. The people's will must be respected. That would be the 'democratic' and 'European' thing to do. Serbia should ask KFOR and EULEX to withdraw from the north and allow Serbian police to operate there. To the internationals in the north: Please leave NOW!

KFOR has long been gentile to the criminal cells of Serbs, who are responsible for the erecting of barricades in main roads of northern Kosova. It should be noted that local Serbs are really suffering from the criminal activities of those criminal cells: a Serbian mate of mine who used to live in Zubin Potok told me that his village is occupied by a multitude of Serbians who have come from Belgrade. A large number of local Serbs are more keen to admit the authority of Prishtina but they are scared to tell out the truth because criminal cells may wipe out them. I am mostly blaming KFOR for doing nothing in eliminating these criminals: I imagine if NATO were in Afghanistan or elsewhere, they would burn alive locals if they erect any barricade. I wonder why they tolerate so much serbian criminals? Are they a chosen people or what? In last instance, Prishtina should immediately intervene in north to protect its serbian citizens.

I just watched the short video to this story. It looks like a NATO tank is trying to cross a small bridge, and unarmed Serbs are not allowing it to pass. Why on earth are the troops firing their guns? Yes, it is in the air, but why fire at all? No one was attacking them. I see this as Western intimidation, trying to force Nikolic's hand, to see his response. He has stated that he will not be as agreeable as Tadic was, so the game of cat and mouse continues. The only difference is, we have a bunch of Serbian peasants, against the world's number one killing machine. What happened to dialogue?

Why don't you go for a visit first and understand the situation on the ground? Firstly, go to Northern KiM and you will see it is fully integrated into Serbian structures. Then go for a visit to the South and observe all of the destroyed churches, desecrated graves and speak to Serbs attempting to return home who are harassed/shot by K*-Albanians.
Maybe then you will realise it is not the Serbs who are preventing peace but the K*-Albanians. They don't want to compromise, they want everything and to change the reality on the ground by intimidation. They won't stop in KiM either, they want FYROM also.
Do some research into allegations of the worst kind against the leaders of these people and you will again see, how can anyone negotiate with them? In a normal democracy, if such allegations were made, people resign from their position until it is cleared up.
Anyway, the West made a complete mess of the Balkans and have set the region back decades.

Having studied int relations at a top US university, it's clear that Nikolic has Just War cause to militarily invade Kosovo. However unbalanced power-play by NATO complicates this, thus the north should be integrated with Serbia.
The next talk should focus on resolving this issue so both sides can move on. Therefore I would propose the most logical:
All of Northern Kosovo stays in Serbia, including ALL of Kosovska Mitrovica. Gracanica becomes a UN-protected town, and the Republic of Kosovo gets full control of the rest, with full rights to the minority Serbs.
This compromise, I believe every moderate would agree to, and most importantly US/NATO would.
A small part of me believes even the Serbian leadership would. However I am almost certain Albanian leadership wouldn't.
This leads us to the hypothetical ultimatum: if Hasim Thaci rejects the deal, then Serbia will militarily intervene into Northern Kosovo with the blessing of NATO. Then Thaci can freely attempt a conflict in which the albanians will lose, and the Serbian military will have the opportunity to invade assert military authority over the rest of Kosovo.
(And P.S. If Thaci were to attack, NATO/US troops would declare neutrality and relinquish Kosovo)

And the fact that there were 60K paramilitary, police,etc., (more so then the NATO invasion) that never even followed the laws of the then Yugoslavia but instituted their own form of the law and did all kinds of things to the minority Albanians of Yugoslavia then what happened today. Naturally during an election year the freedom loving US government will continue to cook the books to make it look good.

However having said that, what you see in Kosovo today is only part of a game that the west thinks it can play. You see these events did not just occur randomly but you can track them clearly and they started right after Nikolic went to Moscow to attend Putin’s ceremony.
The question you have to ask is when will Vlad give the green light for the Serbs to take action? That is what the west fears.
NATO/KFOR/EULEX/REFLUX and all the other XXXs know that to do what you are suggesting would create an all out war situation and let this little old provocateur tell you something, the west is neither prepared nor has the capacity of the 1990s. Living off loans from China and Russia is not an ideal situation to start something you cant finish.

You don’t want to replicate Krajina. Just pay attention to Croatia today. Watch what Croatia has to do to repair the damage done by the likes of Gotovina. Croatia is not able to survive so it has to connect itself to Belgrade. Now as far as Kosovo goes……you can answer it yourself.

KFOR has long been gentile to the criminal cells of Serbs, who are responsible for the erecting of barricades in main roads of northern Kosova. It should be noted that local Serbs are really suffering from the criminal activities of those criminal cells: a Serbian mate of mine who used to live in Zubin Potok told me that his village is occupied by a multitude of Serbians who have come from Belgrade. A large number of local Serbs are more keen to admit the authority of Prishtina but they are scared to tell out the truth because criminal cells may wipe out them. I am mostly blaming KFOR for doing nothing in eliminating these criminals: I imagine if NATO were in Afghanistan or elsewhere, they would burn alive locals if they erect any barricade. I wonder why they tolerate so much serbian criminals? Are they a chosen people or what? In last instance, Prishtina should immediately intervene in north to protect its serbian citizens.

You should instead be telling the Albanians to forget about the North as it is lost to them. It is fully integrated into Serbian structures and always has been. I mean, what would be your response if Serbia now started going into the south wanting to spread Serbian influence there and intimidating people to accept rule from Belgrade? You see, it's the same situation and it would cause instability.
Now a peaceful approach would be for everyone to accept the reality on the ground as attempting to change it will cause instability. In this case, we can clearly blame NATO and Pristina for stirring the pot. Attempting to distort that reality, as you and Duro claim, like "forget about Kosovo, it is lost", is completely false. Go and see for yourself, you will see that it is not true. Drive through the north and you will see "Evo je Srbija, This is Serbia" signs everywhere.
So again, do the peaceful thing and start telling your Albanian friends to forget about the North. It is lost and if they attempt to regain it, it could mean they lose all of "Kosova"*.

Having studied int relations at a top US university, it's clear that Nikolic has Just War cause to militarily invade Kosovo. However unbalanced power-play by NATO complicates this, thus the north should be integrated with Serbia.
The next talk should focus on resolving this issue so both sides can move on. Therefore I would propose the most logical:
All of Northern Kosovo stays in Serbia, including ALL of Kosovska Mitrovica. Gracanica becomes a UN-protected town, and the Republic of Kosovo gets full control of the rest, with full rights to the minority Serbs.
This compromise, I believe every moderate would agree to, and most importantly US/NATO would.
A small part of me believes even the Serbian leadership would. However I am almost certain Albanian leadership wouldn't.
This leads us to the hypothetical ultimatum: if Hasim Thaci rejects the deal, then Serbia will militarily intervene into Northern Kosovo with the blessing of NATO. Then Thaci can freely attempt a conflict in which the albanians will lose, and the Serbian military will have the opportunity to invade assert military authority over the rest of Kosovo.
(And P.S. If Thaci were to attack, NATO/US troops would declare neutrality and relinquish Kosovo)

Why don't you go for a visit first and understand the situation on the ground? Firstly, go to Northern KiM and you will see it is fully integrated into Serbian structures. Then go for a visit to the South and observe all of the destroyed churches, desecrated graves and speak to Serbs attempting to return home who are harassed/shot by K*-Albanians.
Maybe then you will realise it is not the Serbs who are preventing peace but the K*-Albanians. They don't want to compromise, they want everything and to change the reality on the ground by intimidation. They won't stop in KiM either, they want FYROM also.
Do some research into allegations of the worst kind against the leaders of these people and you will again see, how can anyone negotiate with them? In a normal democracy, if such allegations were made, people resign from their position until it is cleared up.
Anyway, the West made a complete mess of the Balkans and have set the region back decades.

Now who were the police then? Once again, this shows that KFOR and EULEX are no longer welcome in northern Kosovo. It is time for them to leave the four municipalities and return control to Serbia. It is majority Serb and should become part of central Serbia. There is no valid reason to prevent this. The people's will must be respected. That would be the 'democratic' and 'European' thing to do. Serbia should ask KFOR and EULEX to withdraw from the north and allow Serbian police to operate there. To the internationals in the north: Please leave NOW!

I just watched the short video to this story. It looks like a NATO tank is trying to cross a small bridge, and unarmed Serbs are not allowing it to pass. Why on earth are the troops firing their guns? Yes, it is in the air, but why fire at all? No one was attacking them. I see this as Western intimidation, trying to force Nikolic's hand, to see his response. He has stated that he will not be as agreeable as Tadic was, so the game of cat and mouse continues. The only difference is, we have a bunch of Serbian peasants, against the world's number one killing machine. What happened to dialogue?

And the fact that there were 60K paramilitary, police,etc., (more so then the NATO invasion) that never even followed the laws of the then Yugoslavia but instituted their own form of the law and did all kinds of things to the minority Albanians of Yugoslavia then what happened today. Rape being one and not a single soldier, officer, person was ever convicted or brought up on charges.
Don't get me wrong any violence is wrong, but it seems things have come full circle. Then if we go further back in time we can draw similar parallels about who was victim. The 80's onwards their was video of police beating up peaceful protesters with no accountability of the govt. actions towards THE PEOPLE.
Narcotics, hmmm yes a small % of Albanians traffic and the same can be said about Serbians. Alb. (heroine) and Serbs (cocaine). Human trafficking both in equal numbers. Same BS, just different ethnicity.

Well at least Albania is a member of NATO, they can say such things. Whether Russia is Serbia's ally is debatable, it's not 150 years ago and NATO are not the Turks. However having said that, what you see in Kosovo today is only part of a game that the west thinks it can play. You see these events did not just occur randomly but you can track them clearly and they started right after Nikolic went to Moscow to attend Putin’s ceremony.
The question you have to ask is when will Vlad give the green light for the Serbs to take action? That is what the west fears.
NATO/KFOR/EULEX/REFLUX and all the other XXXs know that to do what you are suggesting would create an all out war situation and let this little old provocateur tell you something, the west is neither prepared nor has the capacity of the 1990s. Living off loans from China and Russia is not an ideal situation to start something you cant finish.

The US alone will reach over 17 trillion in debt by Christmas this year and the US economy has not grown from 14 trillion to 15 as they seem to report in the free media – I have never seem a contraction going in the positive. Here is something more for you, Mitt Romney made a statement that he should have; he said that by early next year (January 2013) the US will experience an even worse economic conditions “we are going deeper into the recession”. Naturally during an election year the freedom loving US government will continue to cook the books to make it look good.
However the challenge still stands how far has Kosovo gone forward in the last 13 years? Truth hurts.
