Ever hear of the Geneva Convention mate? No, didnt think so. How do you know that the VJ troops murdered in cold blood in Klecka had been killing women and children all over ex YU? Many of the VJ troops were ordinary rank and file soldiers, conscripts from all walks of life, all ethnic groups within YU not just Serbs. I served in VJ during the war in 1999 but I was posted on the Hungarian border where many of my comrades were ethnic Hungarians, Croats and Serbs who would have fought the invader had they come by that route. We were ready to defend our country. If I had been captured, should I have been murdered because I was a VJ soldier?

Apparently the case rested entirely on the testimony and diaries of one witness, who committed suicide while in a EULEX witness-protection program. (The diaries are said to show signs of having been written by different people, but there are ways of proving this - literary scholars use standard techniques to distinguish different styles.) Even if Albanians don't want to testify against these men, what happened to the Serbs who are said to have been captured? They surely wouldn't feel any conflict about testifying, would they?
