oh good lord.... somebody needs to remind tadic that the "sky is falling" routine already failed with their abysmal ICJ failure.

whatever the govt. of kosova does within its borders... serbia has nothing to say. there are no unilateral moves it can make.

when kosova banned serbian good in a reciprocal measure...there was nothing serbia could do...nothing. serbia has no legal or moral authority of any kind. All serbia, as a foreign govt. could do, was to approve and incite to violence extremist serbs within kosova.

whenever serbia uses the word unilateral...its an insult to anyone with a shred of intelligence.

serbia could do whatever it well pleased in regards to customs and what it allows INTO serbia. That it capitulated regarding customs..in a desperate effort to try and bring things back to the status quo...

wich was that of eulex, nato, and kfor ignoring their own mandate and doing nothing to dismantle illegall institutions funded by belgrade and bringing the rule of law throughout kosova.

in so far as serbia is concerned, there is no unilateral action anyone can take within kosovo..it is IMPOSSIBLE. serbia has no legal authority whatsover.

The republic of serbia is not a partner... It is a Third Party.

it can either denounce violence by serb extremists, or it can CONTINUE to approve and fund them.

"Kosovo could become a positive precedent only if the international community insisted on a dialogue and compromise between Belgrade and Priština."

Nice words! That might be what the international community might want to hear. But the TRUTH IS DIFFERENT. Serbia has set up "red lines" as the Kosovo Albanians also have. And the "red lines" are about sovereignity and territorial integrity....and there would be never a compromise on that. Ultimutely Serbia wants the division of Kosovo and get at least the north as a "compromise".

Kosova's authority are not making any unilateral moves.
It is Serbia doing the unilateral move.
Kosova is not alone ,with her are EULEX and KFOR,wich mean olso UN under it's mandate they operate.
Serbia is making unilateral moves by going against UN res.1244 wich prohibit Serbia from any political, economical, and military activities in Kosova.

The fate of the world is hanging on the village road to Rudare. Stop the Kosovars from taking the custom check points at the border and there will be no more AIDS and famine in Africa. No more danger of earthquakes in Japan, there will be peace all over Middle East and the markets will never crash again. But most importantly, the Serbs will keep thinking that Tadic is a fervent nationalist worthy of all the priestly hands he has been kissing and of all the cloth of the Serbian flags he has been wrapping himself up anytime he has visited Kosovo. Now that says true world peace to me.

-International community and its security troops in Kosovo and Europe will have to put a stop to this Serbian paramilitary activity in the north and hold Serbia directly responsible for it. Serbia, yet again, thinks that by use of force and exploit of local serbs can manage to grab some land and yet again will be proven wrong, as next days will show. Serbia will pay dearly for its actions...The only one doing unilateral moves is Serbia trying to destablize Kosovo and grab the North of Kosovo by force... (John, 15 September 2011 14:10)-

Of cvourse it is about the land, not about the common ppl. you never even hear about the "plight" (situation) of serbs in kosova, except from ngo's (never here). just about the north. blgd wants the land, here and in bosnia as well, and will do ANYthing to grab it.

it is much to the dis-credit of the "intl community" that have allowed this ugly situation in the north to go on for so long. of course it was full of MUP agents -- that was freely admitted to us by eulex, with a smile (i won't say what kind of a smile) this spring. and of course there are serbian paramilitaries active in the north, esp.ly now. this is how serbia has long operated, it was de rigour in croatia, esp.ly in bosnia, and then w tragic results in kosova. they alsways claimed: oh, it's just the "spontaneous" civilians (lie!), then "it's just the paramilitaries" (who were always trained and paid by guess whom.) but at some point, the lies to cover up the war crimes guilt of "regular" serb forces (of all varieties)no longer worked. too much evidence. like all the mass grave sites uncovered right in the police grounds in serbia!! nearly 900 albanian bodies (remains), "discovered" in 2001. they can't even deny it or censor it here, since once upon a time, LONg ago, they reported it! people like journalist miroslav filipovic nearly died for reporting the atrocities by "regular" serb forces, throughout kosova!

and yet, tadic and co, all his hacks, have long "forgotten" it all. they just think milosevic and his willing executioners used the wrong tactics (and worse, they lost!) so now the tactics have changed, a bit, but not the war or our frnds mr proper and ms ganda, if you catch my drift.

the belgrade regime has learned nothing, and the common people suffer, whatever their ethnicity.

Regardless of the above, what do you say about the reports that over 1000 heavily armed individuals, (Commanded by General Bozidar Delic) crossed into Northern Kosovo from Serbia in the last 48 hours, using alternative roads? Eyewitnesses report seeing weapons from automatic weapons to anti-tank RPG's, and shoulder-launched surface to air missiles?

What about the order given by the Serb mayors that no fuel will be distributed to anyone that is not actively involved in the "defense of Kosovo"? Poor Serb civilians came down to the Albanian areas to refuel.

This does not "smell" like peaceful protests to me.

Serbia is directly in breach of all international agreements and the rule of law in Kosovo and other parts of former Yugoslavia. Serbian leadership has no idea that sending paramilitary troops in the north of Kosovo, blocking roads and shooting at peacekeepers and Kosovo police, will have devastating consequences for Serbia.

I dont think Serbia would like to be bombed again. The Serbian army must stay 25km away from the border with Kosovo or face the consequences. Serbia needs to be wise and pragmatic as they refused Z4 in Knin, "Oluja" followed, if they dont accept Ahtisari plan not that they may lose those extraordinary minority rights, but may lead to anther war, and 'Oluja 2' may be the unwanted scenario.

What is happening in Kosovo is a self-fulfilling prophecy because only idiots are involved and the whole problem if fueled by the international community. There is NO PARAMILITARY forces in Kosovo and the Albanian police will NOT make a bloodbath, The people on the barricades and the ones who will protest today are all civilians and are not there to cause problems to the Albanian people but only to their self-proclaimed government.

Also, the ROSU, if they were sent, would be a part of a political move to stabilize Albanians in Prishtina and not to attack Serbs in the north, a bloodbath of Serbian civilians would dismiss SCUN Resolution 1244 and allow Serbian military to enter Kosovo and not even people in Serbia want that to happen.

Serbia, yet again, thinks that by use of force and exploit of local serbs can manage to grab some land and yet again will be proven wrong, as next days will show. Serbia will pay dearly for its actions...The only one doing unilateral moves is Serbia trying to destablize Kosovo and grap the North of Kosovo by force...

Serbs must know that when they use weapons Serbia always ends up with more refugees. Second, they should make place for Serbs south of Ibar because their future has been sealed.

I have read your post and I am unable to comprehend any of it. Not even the word "yap", so I Googled the word and found the following definition.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yap

However, I still don't get it!

Did you learn this word at the University of Prishtina?

"Kosovo could become a positive precedent only if the international community insisted on a dialogue and compromise between Belgrade and Priština."

Nice words! That might be what the international community might want to hear. But the TRUTH IS DIFFERENT. Serbia has set up "red lines" as the Kosovo Albanians also have. And the "red lines" are about sovereignity and territorial integrity....and there would be never a compromise on that. Ultimutely Serbia wants the division of Kosovo and get at least the north as a "compromise".

oh good lord.... somebody needs to remind tadic that the "sky is falling" routine already failed with their abysmal ICJ failure.

whatever the govt. of kosova does within its borders... serbia has nothing to say. there are no unilateral moves it can make.

when kosova banned serbian good in a reciprocal measure...there was nothing serbia could do...nothing. serbia has no legal or moral authority of any kind.
