Comment: This is clearly illegal under international law, more specific international customary law on immunity of head of states.

Believe me, EULEX checked it very close before they searched him.

I wonder if Thaci made the comment about the ICJ ruling being in Kosovo's favor while his luggage was being searched...That would have been really funny.

Yes, that means... ouch... he is not the head of a state even at home. Any Taiwanese will roll on the floor laughing. Taiwan officials have more respect while visiting Mainland China than Thaci at home.

Why, do the customs officers in Serbia not take their job seriously by letting pass through without check up the highest state authorities while travelling abroad?

Same reason Obama is not being searched. They are real heads of state unlike some.

Here is what happened....
EULEX searched Thaci, so he (Thaci) called president Sejdiu and the president told him " I am sorry Thaci but they searched me too" lol
As much as I thought that Thaci was stupid he is not that much, he gave his dirty money to someone else to pass it over thru Customs. Damn it

Another peice of evidence showing Thaci's loose grip on the "state of kosovo".

He's loosing it, the Albanians are loosing and everyone is witnessing this.

You have to be joking, A. Thaci is not a head of any state, he is a puppet placed in a ceremonial position by his western overlords. Let's please get this straight. He will be dealt with in any manner his masters see fit. And if he is involved, i.e., caught, in his criminal activities, he will be treated like the common criminal that he is. It's coming, I can feel it.

Jovan

pre 14 godina

may I remind you that it is no "neighbouring counrty" that is accusing him to be a terrorist?

it´s the country in which this simple criminal lives at the moment - of course, temporarily not in reach, but time come when this little figure will end up where he belongs - or some of his own band of criminals kills him.

just a question of time.

Hey, if Hash complains, can someone reiterate to him Sejdiu's little "no one is above the law" speech?

Besides, if there's any illegal smuggling going on in Kosovo-UNMIK, I'd first look with its leadership than any ordinary individual.

Eventually, Thaqi's dirty laundry will be found, and his corrupt butt will be removed. I just read that the US and Serbia have signed an extradition agreement, how timely.

Right there's that international law. But keep in mind that this doesn't include self proclaimed "heads" of pseudo-states.

Well, UNMIK/EULEX is controlling the Serbian province of Kosovo. So they should check anybody if needed!

But yes... another proof that Kosovo is not an independent state!

Called terrorist from some 'neigbour' country? Has Kosovo been relocated to America? Or don't you refer to the good old US terrorist list compiled by the CIA?

And so the million dollar question is whether this was collaboration between EULEX and Thaci to make him look democratic or like a normal citizen. Or was it a real search, that he had no idea about?

If its the former, I don't think that Thaci's political opponents will be very impressed with EULEX.

"Thaci, and four other Priština government officials, Fatmir Limaj among them, “experienced a detailed search while passing through the airport's VIP zone on their departure for Turkey”, the daily wrote, adding that EULEX customs officers carried out the search."

And so EULEX, not Kosovo's own customs, carried out the search ..... they search whenever they like and on whom they like -- even Pristina's ministers cannot refuse to comply -- this the reality of "supervised" independence -- you have NO say at all, your EU masters are the ones calling the shots. And you have no choice but to comply. Now you know why most EU members were so eager to "recognize" you!

Where's the problem? It's a normal procedure, and it's an open secret that criminality and corruption can be found up to the highest level of Kosovo government. Of course KPS or Kosovarian custom officers wouldn't do anything. Fortuately, there's EULEX.

And keep some wise words from some days ago in mind:

"Sejdiu: No one above law"

I’d say the customs officers would not be doing their job if they did not search the luggage of every passenger incl. the prime minister Thaci passing through the customs.
