If interpol is supposed to be intergovernmental body established to promote mutual cooperation between police authorities around the world and to develop means of effectively preventing crime by coordinating the international activities of member countries and exchanging information on police work, we can state it is not being carried out. Obviously, there is a lack of cooperation between Serbia and Switzerland. If Serbia has really issued an international arrest warrant demanding extradition of Subotic, then the other party shows a complete lack of respect for Serbia by ignoring the request.

We need more transparency with party and media funding I think. Lets see who is funding whom. It's a shame we have so much corruption at the core.

It is fairly common though. In the case of Russian oligarchs, after many robbed the country of billions they found refuge in the UK where they were accepted for their billions while their crimes were ignored.

Unfortunately, greed is part of human nature and the cause of so much suffering around the world. We need groups and auditors in place to continually keep check of the government and influential parties in Serbia.

He [Medojević] added that there was "no reason to doubt" Subotić was in fact in Geneva, but noted that "he still remains a fugitive from justice".

"He (Subotić) is wanted by several justice systems for several criminal acts," Medojević concluded.

So...? Serbian jurisdiction can't apprehend Subotić, can't get him extradited from Switzerland?

It's utmost beneficial in so very many ways to Serbian society that these crimes will be thoroughly studied. In case this isn't done the cancer stays in the body, decays it and finally kills it.

A combination of young and bright legal minds straight from law schools and more experienced police inspectors makes the best team to sort this out.

Like they say no owner among thieves. When their ship is going down the rats scurry out of their dark places. It looks like the ship went down before it docked at the Port of Belgrade their safe heaven. Has the Serbian state figured yet what happened to more then half of the money from the sell off of state assets. Or is it a still farce investigation because the people on top might be embarrassed of their sudden unexplained wealth.
