I really wish to have some real challenge in this debate, but it seems to be not so.

Turkey’s armed forces are little more than an enlarged police force or very similar to the Indonesian army. Unfortunately, your great Turkish army is incapable of fighting 1 kilometre outside its border; just ask the Kurds in Iraq that they were trying to destroy. The Kurds whipped them to a standstill – dozens of Turkish soldiers were killed and in one action alone the Kurds ambushed an entire column destroying almost all.

There should always be a limit to bravado and never believe too much of propaganda.

Greece and Slovenia are not Muslim countries so they listen to them to a certain extent. Even NATO’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is opposed to Turkey’s entry into Europe. As far as Schroeder is concerned, that’s normal the west does it every day but when the Russians do it, then hey this is something big and sinister. You have to pay for good help.

Unfortunately for you friends in BiH, Turkey will be of no help. Turkey does what it’s told – it has to because it receives huge amounts of aid. As far a Cyprus is concerned half is in the EU while the other half is not. You work it out from here on.

I don’t see any logic of joining NATO where in fact this organization is the one "occupying" Kosovo province and backing the separatist leaders in Pristina.

Turkey is in no situation to ask demands ??? really ? I heard similar fake arguments as regards Greece and Slovnia..how could these tiny countries place their VETO against the will of NATO and EU big countries ?!! but the did....and the greek one is still on the table...just remember Turkey represents the second biggest army of NATO.

And as far as Schroeder is concerned..well, I don't know what to think about him...I remember he was one of the first supporters of NATO campaign against Milosevic...and he has made hasardous pro-russian statements since he has been working for Gazprom...and that sound quiet strange even to his fellow germans...so I honnestly think he's in an interest-conflict situation.

That’s what he is paid for, to test the waters. Now that he has received a resounding NO to NATO he see that now is not the right time. I doubt if it will ever be the right time.

Turkey is in no position to make any demands or add any conditions for either BiH or Kosovo. It will do what the EU tells it, no more and no less. Take look at Gerhard Schroeder’s recent statement about Germany’s recognition of Kosovo and you will see the tide is starting to turn.

Serbia doesn't need to be in NATO and can remain neutral -no need to bleed for a cause you don't believe in. Like all empires, NATO in the not too distant future will crumble from within - and be a thing of the terrible past.

Well Mr.Sutanovac!

Only what the very much qualified majority of the Serbians want and demand is not collaborating with Nato in any sense and it was clearly expressed numbers of times, so be so very much kind and respect the wish of the electorate or you and your party will easily loose the power.

Clear and done...Serbia and Nato NEVER!

This guy is dying to get in NATO, you can see it in the story after story. Now Turks will add BiH as a condition as well, recognition of Kosova, admission of crimes and reparations already were on the list
