People should accept that Croats will always be, in general, like this and this will be beneficial in the long run. This will keep Serbs on their guard and prevent them from foolish deals and encounters with Croats, and therefore less chance of being backstabbed as happened to Serbs throughout their historical relationships with Croats.

Shalom, Robert-O, I want to hear your comment.

also about Tudjman who said, he is proud, his wife is neither Serb nor Jew. (Poor Tudjman, he does not even know, what he missed in his life!)

So it seems this NDH bloke has been buried with full honors. At Nuremburg, Goering, Ribberntrop, and the others condemned to death were cremated afterwards. This waste of humanity gets a grave monument. Sad.

People wonder why Serbs were so frightened as to pick up a gun to resist Tudjman and his Neo-Ustashe. Read some of Tudjman’s books and you’ll have the answer. Seems some things will never change. No wonder they celebrate the worst case of ethnic cleansing during the war as a national holiday.

Could you imagine such a funeral for the commander of Auschwitz?

On an aside note, why are Croatia’s crimes against the Bosniaks ignored and forgotten?

What's more to say? A Catholic Croatian Priest at the funeral of a war criminal, a real butcher.
And CNN, the Germans and Americans, tried to brainwash the world that these are the 'good guys'?? It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Countries such as Germany and Italy are embarrassed by their fascist past. However, it seems to be a source of pride among many elements in Croatia society.

Unless these Croatians are made to recognize and atone for their genocidal activities in WWII, to apologize to their victims and pay reparations to the families like all other Nazis were forced to do, then the idolization of the ustashe in funerals, concerts. . .etc will continue unabated further straining relations with countries whose citizens were victimized.

Grow up Croatia. . .its long overdo!

> “Burying the commander of the Jasenovac death camp in his Ustasha uniform ...

This man who was responsible for the deaths of who knows how many thousand's of innocent men, woman & children should have been buried with the same dignity he showed to his victims.

That he wasn't is a testimonial to the hold the 'Ustashe' have on this new state.

> and the speech by the priest Vjekoslav Lasić, who said that the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) was the foundation of today’s ‘Croatian Homeland’

I rest my case.
