Yes, we know by now how to read between the lines.

Perhaps not as sofisticated message back from the Serbian folk (and no codifying meaning and no need to read between the lines)

would be:

There will be no trade-off of Kosovo for EU membership.

Well it seems that the EU and the US have defined the role of Kosovo, its current situation (as per the declaration of independence) and the fact that EULEX is going to take over from UNMIK.

This should stop all the unhealthy speculation and should now provide the ground work for the neighbours to start to recognise one another and start developing good relations as two seperate countries living side by side.

Its very clear and has been designed in such a way as to remove any ambiguity and or speculation as to what the future holds for Kosovo.

Lets stop slandering each other and lets work on how we can best live next to each other and in peace and harmony.

This is merely just patting each other's shoulders.
Reminds me of meaningless sessions of КПСС with тов. Брежнев reading long, boring material, out of touch with reality and the entire КПСС enthusiastically clapping at the end.
