I got a chuckle out of Ms. Karen's comment for a Sponge Bob statue - if we're really going into that category -
The statue should be done by an artist from Serbia & for the Serbian people - who gives a hoot about someone who IS fictional & if you want to take it one step further is really nothing but immortalized on the screen.
This is a result of dumbing down of society and cultural illiteracy which is infecting the globe as a result of the plague of pop-culture, from hollywood. You would figure that europe has more culture than the US. Very sad.
This is about as strange as the Bruce Lee statue nearby. Couldn't they think of something more original? Not another guy on a horse, but something unique about the area?
