Isn't Patriarch Pavle the religious leader who was beat half to death by Albanian Muslim hooligans in Kosovo inside his Church several years ago?? And what's more, he forgave them and refused to have them prosecuted.Right? He is in his NINETIES isn't he??

Patriarch Pavle is indeed a good man and well loved by Serbs, both religious and not. I had the honor of personally meeting him when I was visiting Belgrade in 2002 and he is truly a remarkable individual, and well respected among all Orthodox clergy in the Orthodox world.

Antonio, the patriarch signed declaration in favour of suspending the proceedings against Radovan Karadzic at the Hague Tribunal among other things. Always do your own research.
