Kosovo: Countdown to independence?

What can we do to utterly defeat the arrogance and oppression of the West in Balkans, particularly Kosovo? It would seem impossible to get the American public's attention focused on the atrocities committed in the name of -- does anybody remember -- opposing "ethnic cleansing" in the face of the media conspiracy which dictates what we see and hear in the USA, and what we DON'T.
