Impressive that you name anonymous sources.
But there is much truth in this article.
Israel has no choice but to confront its enemies, anywhere, if they pose a serious threat.
Every nation must act in their own interests first.
Remember Adolph Eichmann?
I believe he was in a particular command in Yugoslavia during WWII.
He was one of Hitler's "master minds".
Israel's Mossad (secret intelligence service) caught him years later, living a peaceful life, under a new name.
He ended up in Israel, tried in their court of law and was sentenced to death. He was the only enemy, thus far, to get that sentence. Israel is very careful about such matters. But Eichmann was an exception, rightfully so. Argentina was Adolf's hiding place.
