Even if that many died, Ukraine is done, gone.
How many Ukrainian soldiers have died and been maimed?
Ukraine is literally pulling people off the streets to send to the front. Untrained, cannon fodder.

Russian economy is doing very nicely, while the west is almost ruined. So how do you figure Putin is the one who's made a mistake? The longer the war takes place, the more west is depleted of money and weapons.
