Frank Gardner, the BBC's security correspondent, published a mini analysis of this morning's massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Ukraine now has the ability to strike at Russia with new and more powerful weapons at will. We are laughing at Putin’s frustration of not being able to halt Ukraine’s ability to acquire more powerful Western weapons.
Isnt this what America/nato did back in 1999....?
Back then the "democratic" nato broke int. law, the UN charter, their own charter, used illegal cluster bombs and depleted uranium bombs (also illegal). Nato bombed bridges, electricity power stations, gas storage, water supply to Belgrade, civilian buses, civilian trains, roads, rail lines, schools, hospitals, a TV station, residential buildings, and even the Chinese embassy........ America called it shock and awe.......!!!
Strangely not too many in the west cared that much about the 1000s (including many children) of civilians killed.
And here we are in Ukraine where we were close to a deal in april, until Boris Johnson destroyed any hopes for a negotiated peace. And of course the west continues to pour so many weapons into Ukraine which will result in more death and destruction. But does Washington or London care..?? No, not one bit.
I'm very sad to see the drama and I'm sorry for both Ukrainians and Russians as this war was supported and organised by the west. The west knows that Ukraine can not win this war but the point is to weaken and isolate Russia. And the good people of Ukraine are paying the price. They care nothing for human life. So so sad.
