What they are showing you is called media manipulation smallish number of demonstrators are made to look as if its multiples of thousands. The problem with you its always TV tells you this or that. Now that you mention the police in Russia beating the crap out of “peaceful demonstrators”, I wounder if you recall the early demonstrations by the BLM movement, before it became a catch cry to remove Trump, I watched on TV where riot police attacked these people and I recall how the governor of Minneapolis called out the National Guard. Is this what you mean by the right to demonstrate? I imagine the Russian police are more brutal because they use undemocratic batons whereas you would prefer for US police because the beatings are full of democracy and freedom LOL.

On January 6th group of Trump supporters entered US government building on Capitol Hill. Initially, this was labelled "coup attempt" but lately it's called "domestic terrorism" implying that protesters might be prosecuted on terrorism charged ( 15 to 20 years in prison).
Here is a question - angry mob entering govenment buildings to remove democratically elected president for whatever reason, (they don't like his/hers policies on some issue - gay rights or whatever)? What is it? Coupe? Terrorism?
