Well I was in Port Lincoln South Australia on 18 December 2020 when the government there declared a total shut down; everything pubs, clubs, service stations, eateries, accommodation and bottle shops/ liquor stores.
The Premier's office did not run that past the South Australian Police and once the police got a hold of the press release they immediately told the Premier NO closure of bottle shops/ liquor stores otherwise there would be riots in the streets so you see its not just Russia but everywhere.

Our little sj, skippy jumpy, clearly has a bottle problem. Though, it is obvious that skippy jumpy's problem might not the booze bottle but the medication bottle he keeps avoiding at all costs because he is convinced to be a sane person.

On top of investing endless amounts of inexistent money in Serbia, our little skippy jumpy has now learnt the art of time travel and he is able to go back and forth in time too!

Now everything makes sense!

This alcohol thing was denied by medical researchers involved with Sputnik-V.
All they claimed that alcohol should be not abused.

As usual, a politician talked without much research. The goal is clear though: the anti-alcohol movement is quite strong, regardless that the numbers are drastically lower.

During my time in Europe (12 years from now) I met only one drunk driver and it was in Ukraine.

To explain this better: the law in RU / UA / BY / PL / HU is "zero tolerance". RU and UA go as far as in restaurant even soup based on "kvas" ("Okroshka") is refused to be served to designated drivers. It is said, Norway is even "worse" but I never was there.

On the other side in Silly Conman Vally you can see many drivers who don't drive - they "fly" instead. The penalties in the States are ridiculously mild compared to what one would expect for DUI in Eastern Europe, Poland or Norway.
