He did in fact give notice of his arrival 48hrs in advance. Pristina replied and said they didn’t receive it in time or some garbage. This is an official document read last night by our president.

For the benefit of the Albos; since Serbia does not recognise an independent Kosovo it never signed off in the Brussels Agreement to seek permission from Pristina to enter its own province. However, it did agree, as a matter of courtesy, to notify Prisitna which officials were going to arrive in Kosovo, but there was NO obligation to do so.

The "so called" self-proclaimed "state" of Kosovo, see Brussels Agreement, is still considered a territory of Serbia until their is a final resolution - not forthcoming anytime soon based on these shenanigans by the leadership of KiM. Also, Djuric "does not" have to ask for permission to visit KiM, see above, but he has to inform them 24 hours in advance that he will be arriving. When you attack an official from any government, this is generally considered an attack on the country. I would like to see how this plays out - however, not much hope that it will be dealt with properly because of the precedent of hypocrisy and double-standards concerning Serbia.

There were also Serbs in Kosovo's special forces who arrested the pig. Kosovo is independent it is a fact.

Pretty simple really. The "so called" self-proclaimed "state" of Kosovo, see Brussels Agreement, is still considered a territory of Serbia until their is a final resolution - not forthcoming anytime soon based on these shenanigans by the leadership of KiM. Also, Djuric "does not" have to ask for permission to visit KiM, see above, but he has to inform them 24 hours in advance that he will be arriving. When you attack an official from any government, this is generally considered an attack on the country. I would like to see how this plays out - however, not much hope that it will be dealt with properly because of the precedent of hypocrisy and double-standards concerning Serbia.

For the benefit of the Albos; since Serbia does not recognise an independent Kosovo it never signed off in the Brussels Agreement to seek permission from Pristina to enter its own province. However, it did agree, as a matter of courtesy, to notify Prisitna which officials were going to arrive in Kosovo, but there was NO obligation to do so.

WOW!! What a brutal arrest! This is something the whole world needs to see. A politician who crosses the administrative line legitimately gets brutally arrested and paraded through Pristina with the assistance of the EU. All this in the paradise they call "Kosova"***.

Now they will see who controls the north. No Albanians to be seen anywhere, they are too scared and I wouldn't be surprised if the barricades return. Albanians know they don't control the whole province. The frozen conflict is here to stay, another fine mess created by the west.

I still do not understand how B92 allows anonymous people to incite others and make disgraceful comments.
Surely there is a way to identify these people and not give them the right to express themselves. They have not earned that right. The professionalism at B92 needs to improve. Without identification there can be no civil dialogues on this site.

He did in fact give notice of his arrival 48hrs in advance. Pristina replied and said they didn’t receive it in time or some garbage. This is an official document read last night by our president.

So, are there any ‘intelligent’ Albanians here who can respond to this and say whether the arrest was legal or whether it is a provocation? Have you read the Brussels agreement?

At least for what it's worth and as far as I'm concerned Albanian police officials don't cane suspects like police are known to do in Singapore and also as far as I'm concerned Albanian cops don't flog or lash suspects like what occurs in Saudi Arabia so what my point is Duric is not being subject to corporal punishment and what I want to know is why is this considered injustice seeing Mr Duric being led away in handcuffs? Almost 20 years ago I witnessed police in Bathurst,N.B. (my birthplace and former hometown) handcuffing a suspect, I've also witnessed police handcuffing someone in Halifax,Nova Scotia, here in Fredericton and at the Mall Of America ( largest mall in U.S.A. located in Minnesota).
