Kosovo was 100% Christian and 100% Albanian (mostly Orthodox) during Byzantine times before barbaric Serbs came down from the caves they were living in and settled our ancient lands. We baptised them into the Byzantine Orthodox religion and we let them in our churches. Most of those Byzantine-era churches in Kosovo were there before Serbs settled in the area and they were all Albanian before they became "Serb". Some of them were Catholic before they were converted to Orthodox.
Even though the Barbaric Serb steals and appropriates history, he still can only claim a handful of old churches in Kosovo today, because most of them were built in the 20th century.

The Barbaric Serbs have no history and no monuments. Only one village in Albania (Voskopoja) has more old Orthodox churches than the whole of Serbia! 26 old Orthodox churches in Voskopoja and only 12 in Kosovo, and even those were appropriated from Albanians. And no need to talk about any other non-Orthodox monuments, because a few Orthodox monuments is all that Serbia claims to have in Kosovo. THOSE ARE THE FACTS. SAVAGES.

1. Everyone was a barbarian at one time. One should be measured by how far one has come since being civilized. Perhaps your should assess your own national standing in this matter?

1. For the better part of 500 years Serbs provided the most stiff resistance against the Ottomans. Do you not think there was very stiff punishment and retribution which included the destruction of churches. The Ottomans even developed a special word to describe Serbs.

2. For the better part of 500 years, Serbs did not fully live in their ancestral homelands. The Great Exodus out of K led the people north to the Krajina. Nomads don't build churches. And when they finally did land in present day Croatia, that's where they built plenty of churches. But even there, the Serbs lived in constant buffer zone of conflict and war.

3. The Serb landmass exists on Corridor 10. Corridor 10 is the present day name for the natural transit points of migrations and commerce. Due to the control that great powers want to have over this landmass, Belgrade was leveled 40 times in its history. Areas along Corridor 10 also were routinely devastated.

The landmass known as Serbia has had many more years of conflict than peace. In the 20th Century alone, 8 wars were fought in 100 years on that territory.

Sure, others resisted too, but not nearly to the degree Serbs did.

You don't have the church monopoly anymore to label all Orthodox people in Serbia as ethnic Serbs just because they are Orthodox. Albanians have had their own Orthodox church since the early 1900s. Now the Macedonians and Montenegrins also have their churches too. One day the Vlachs (romanized/latinized Illyrian-Thracians) will also have their own church in Serbia. You should be thankful of the little Illyrian Thracian blood you have in you. That is your main connection to these lands.

Montenegrins don't have their own Church. They have a guy who started a church. Hardly the same thing. For that church to be recognized requires a UNANIMOUS acceptance by all other orthodox Churches (good luck!)

The inconvenient truth for Albanians is that kosovo was 100% serb pre-1389, but due to continus harassment by the ottoman military, serbs civilians moved/settled further and further north towards and eventually into Austro-hungarian controled territory, which left kosovo under populated to be efficiently productive for the ottoman empire, so the ottomans started settling Albanians into kosovo from the 15th century onwards, this is why there are no Albanian monuments in kosovo pre 15th century.

Now, I see that nobody can answer my main questions here, if Serbs were such cultured civilized people, why do you only have a handful of Byzantine churches to claim? If Serbia was such a beacon of civilization in the Balkans, why are there many times more historical sites and churches in Albania than Serbia?

1. For the better part of 500 years Serbs provided the most stiff resistance against the Ottomans. Do you not think there was very stiff punishment and retribution which included the destruction of churches. The Ottomans even developed a special word to describe Serbs.

2. For the better part of 500 years, Serbs did not fully live in their ancestral homelands. The Great Exodus out of K led the people north to the Krajina. Nomads don't build churches. And when they finally did land in present day Croatia, that's where they built plenty of churches. But even there, the Serbs lived in constant buffer zone of conflict and war.

3. The Serb landmass exists on Corridor 10. Corridor 10 is the present day name for the natural transit points of migrations and commerce. Due to the control that great powers want to have over this landmass, Belgrade was leveled 40 times in its history. Areas along Corridor 10 also were routinely devastated.

The landmass known as Serbia has had many more years of conflict than peace. In the 20th Century alone, 8 wars were fought in 100 years on that territory.

Sure, others resisted too, but not nearly to the degree Serbs did.

You don't have the church monopoly anymore to label all Orthodox people in Serbia as ethnic Serbs just because they are Orthodox. Albanians have had their own Orthodox church since the early 1900s. Now the Macedonians and Montenegrins also have their churches too. One day the Vlachs (romanized/latinized Illyrian-Thracians) will also have their own church in Serbia. You should be thankful of the little Illyrian Thracian blood you have in you. That is your main connection to these lands.
