It is this very attitude that resulted in Rump Serbia. The times of Knez Dushan are long over.
(The Count of Kosova, 25 May 2017 23:57)
====================
Every time Serbs do something you don't like you come out with this.
We all know there is only one reason Albanians caused trouble and tried to secede and that's plain old intolerance for anyone else but Albanians and the habit of taking something which doesn't belong to them.
All those other million reasons you keep coming up with is just more lies.

Way to go, finally a government with cojones, not giving in to these Muslim believers
(d, 26 May 2017 22:32)

If the government had cojones, it would tear down the illegal buildings of those who are powerful, not just the illegal building of a small minority.

Just demolishing the illegal building of somebody who is weak, is more of a demonstration that the government is cojones-less at best, or totally corrupt at worst!

Look Mike Im not Ibrahim Rugova or Bekim Femiu to explain you for months whats wrong with your racism against albanians. You're not in a position to dictate anything BUT you can offer your hand for reconciliation in the region. Albania was once also your territory and you lost it. The land belongs to those who love that land and contribute to develop it. We have not stolen anything but if we fail to create a decent state in Kosovo that same land will spit on us. Mothers are all holy "cows" and often they fart out idiots or criminals but the problem is not if we are proud of them but if mothers are proud of us.

Same old Albanian mantra, Serbs are this that and the other and the poor albanoids are brave victims with some amazing fantastical history as the eagle people. Hilarious really, if it weren't so sad and pathetic. Apparently when Albanians destroy 100's of centuries old Orthodox monasteries in Kosovo, that's really no big deal. It's just them being brave and eagle like. When Serbs tear down an ILLEGALLY BUILT MOSQUE, that's a true crime against humanity. You people are truly sick, twisted, demented and evil. cant say I give a rats a-- what happens to you and all those like you. Times are a changin. There is no 100s of years old church in Prishtina. Only that ugly illegal building, built from 1991 to 1998 that you call a church. It doesnt matter anyway because there are only two possible futures for that ugly symbole of a genocidal nation.

1. Memorial to display the crimes committed by your totalitarian regime
2. Bulldozer

Since I`m not a huge fan of religion and memorials in general, I`d prefere the latter.

THEY ARE ETHNIC SERBS NOT ALBANIANS!
And as I know - but maybe I'm wrong as I see - they have the same right as the Christan Serbs.
Who deny his own blood is lost.
The religion is just "something" you must even lost - but deny to your blood just about the religion is something that we Albanians don't understand.... Is not a case that Serbs are in this situation today with Croats and Bosnians. It look strange to me when Serbs call brothers Russians, Greeks or even Armenians while already I think they've lost forever those who are their true "brothers". Don't blame Albanians please - you can't even came close to our religious tolerance.
Our blood is first - our nation - and the religion is something just personal to us, as it should be.

This mosque was started in 2014 so the old laws apply, and it has the same status as Nikolics house.

My argument still stands even if it was started in 2016. The only reason this building was demolished is because of spite.
Within a 5km radius of that mosque, there are a dozen more illegal buildings of the same status, none of which will be demolished.
The law needs to be applied to all citizens equally.

The police should have allowed the mosque to be finished illegally...

That way its more heartbreaking to these Muslims who wish to enter Europe illegally and build mosques illegally...
The Muslims only recognise their own sharia laws, and if you disagree with them, well then you are faced with a Muslim rebellion as we have seen so often in the world...

No doubt Europe will start demolishing mosques soon, I'm not talking about European governments demolishing mosques, the people will do it... just recently in Manchester England, after the terrorist attack a group of people destroyed a mosque in Manchester...

People of the world a turning against Islam, it is only governments which are able to temporarily keep its people in a leash...

Kosovo is Christian territory and Pristina is Slavic city in origin (The name of the city is derived from a Slavic form *Prišьčь) that was stolen through war (Turks and albo mercenaries) illegal immigration by Albanians coming from Albania, who were never a majority in the area until the Serbs were removed by force.

"The Decan chrysobulls (1321–31) of Serbian king Stefan Decanski contains a detailed list of households and villages in Metohija and northwestern Albania. The first charter concludes that this region was ethnically Serbian.[15] 89 settlements with 2,666 households were recorded, out of which 86 were Serbian (96,6%), and 3 were Albanian (3,3%); there were 2,166 livestock households of 2,666 agricultural households, out of which 2,122 were Serbian (98%), and 44 were Albanian (2%)."

though I have nothing to say against your position, it is valid, good and right in my opinion as well, however, to play a little bit of devil's advocate, when these balkan countries were all buried in yugoslavia, they built more libraries, schools and jobs. the citizens picked this avenue. they wanted separation, a distinction. that distinction is symbolized through religion and cemented through construction of religions sites, through money and effort wasting on religiousness. this is an obvious conclusion of a religiously fueled civil war. had people wanted libraries and peace they would have done so, they wanted war and gods.

All are connected to utilities despite this and all will eventually be legalized despite the fact that no residents want these buildings apart from the land-owners.

Extremists must be eliminated as ruthlessly as Russia is doing it. But forbidding construction of Houses of the Lord is an absolutely counterproductive and harmful idea. Those are two different problems that can easily be separated the way we do it in Caucasus and Volga region. Too many conflict points for such a small region as the Balkans are. Remember that for 400 years during the Ottomans there were neither ethnical nor religious conflicts there. The came thanks to the West in 19-20 centuries only ... For centuries Muslims could pray in our churches and that's why they have no chairs to tie you to the priest. One could always find a corner to pray to God the way and the language that his heart was telling to him ... If I were Vucic I would clean the mosque from the extremists and put there a normal mullah and come to take part at the opening ... But local muslims too must share the responsibility for what is happening in the mosques. Send your mullahs to the Caucasus to learn more.

The funny thing is almost every mosque in the Balkans is funded by turkey and Saudi Arabia. The average citizen could care less if they demolished a couple of these religious buildings and built children's hospitals, schools, shelters for the homeless etc. In Albania almost half of the mosques are built illegally yet our dear leaders go and destroy people's homes and businesses instead.
