Look, I cringe when Serbians express their hate for France, Britain, Germany, USA, NATO, EU, etc. Its not good for the region. I cherish the values of free and open societies of the West. Unfortunately, there are many Serbians that don't. Increasingly, Serbians are becoming even more pro-russian and pro-china than in the past, simply because Russia and China don't expect the Serbians to come to terms with their past (crimes). This position of China and Russia is because they have their own fears of specific populations within their own country that may want to secede in the future. . In my estimation, Nazi Germany far exceeded the crimes of Serbia, (no comparison in fact!), yet Germany was able to come to terms, accept the past, atone for their crimes, and move forward, without playing the victim. After the almost complete extermination the Jews, Germany is now among the most staunch supporters of Israel, not to mention an economic powerhouse. See the difference?

China is embarking on a project not seen in history before that will involve a railway line along the old silk Road costing over $1 trillion and connecting over 65 countries from China to Europe. This is will expand trade on a huge scale which covers about 2/3 of the world population.
The fact that little Serbia have been invited to this Forum is something to be very proud of.

The Albanians and their brothers the Croats can hang around and wait for the US to throw them some crumbs, if they have any left, while we connect with the dynamic economies of the east.

As far as being concerned at China meddling in Serb politics, gee you guys are as thick as two planks of wood glued together since Beijing brings wealth while the Washington windbags are just that hot air.

Trading with China is one thing, but allowing China to get involved in your political matters is another. Not only will this hurt Serbia, but it will be damaging for the whole region.
