Customs and police officers last night seized 19.6 kg of heroin in Gradina at the Serbian-Bulgarian border. Local customs chief Vladimir Stojanovic told Beta that the drugs had been found on a Turkish national, K.M. (27), driving an Audi A6 with Swiss number plates, who had been entering Serbia. He added that 20 packets of heroin weighing over 10 kg had been found inside the spare wheel and 18 packets containing over 9 kg behind the back seat.

According to Stojanović, this is the biggest drugs haul at the Gradina crossing this year.
