President Boris Tadic says EUR 93.4mn will be allocated from the National Investment Plan (NIP) to modernize the army. The funds will also be used to purchase modern equipment and arms this year. Tadic promises Army EUR 93.4mn At the end of his tour of the Special Brigade in Pancevo, Tadic told reporters that the VS would buy only modern equipment and arms. He said that a tender for the purchase of communications equipment was complete, and that a overhaul of the air force was imminent.
