A vicious murder last night has left police and locals in western Serbia guessing. Serbian police (MUP) in Sabac are trying to work out a motive in the murder of Dragoslav Tesic, stabbed to death around 10 p.m. last night in a village near Loznica, in the street in front of his house. Father kills his daughter's kidney donor The suspect in the case, identified as Mileko B., is the father of a 14-year girl who last year received a kidney transplant from the victim, Dragoslav Tesic. Reports say that the surgery was successful and that Tesic was since a welcome guest in the girl's household. The villagers, in disbelief at the vicious nature of the crime, describe late Tesic as a modest and kind-natured man. In 2006, Daily Vecerenje Novosti named Tesic as the recipient of their "most noble gesture of the year" campaign award.
