By chosing the side of the Albanians KFOR destroys the balance of power and raises on the Albanian side the impression that they can do whatever they want without negative consequences. As charming and idealist as your post is, have you ever heard of Realpolitik? You know, that guiding principle which pretty much every single country's foreign policy is guided by? You may "pray" that Western civilisation collapses, which you predict will happen soon (if the Western world went through two World Wars and a great depression, they can make it through a slightly overzealous debt crisis caused by crappy public financial policy which can be progressively revoked without much hassle if certain people get their act going), but what difference will that make? Another power will attempt to exert their own influence and do it's best to change the course of direction into their favour, whether it's Russia or China or the f-ing Cayman Islands. Earlier in the morning, ethnic albanian KPS members were said to have witnessed a yellow glowing orb slowly rising from beyond the horizon, enveloping the area with a mystical glow.
KPS spokesman Besim Hoti confirmed that the incident took place in a statement for Beta news agency.
He at the same time said that the KPS "knows nothing about it, what it is, why it is there, what is causing it nor under which circumstances the mystical orb arose". He continued on to state "what ever that yellow thing is, it has to be albanian."

There is a story from WWl in north western macedonia, the Bulgarians left two wounded soldiers in the village as the weree seriously ill, anyway the Albanians killed the defenceless Bulgarian soldiers.. to cut a long story short, when the Bulgarians came back for them and found out, the Bulgarians wiped out the village..

There are still so many violent episodes occurring in Kosovo & all KFOR/EULEX are interested in is establishing "freedom of movement".
One has to question the value of a human life in today's era???
Can NATO ever care about human life like it does about power & politics?
The world will remain a sad place while organisations like this exist. NATO should use their resources to tackle the pirates & fundamentalist islamic paramilitary gangs in Somalia/Nigeria et al & help MILLIONS of children from dying of starvation & thirst.
How can 'freedom of movement' be such a serious objective when people are DYING all over the world & also practically every week in Kosovo from some form of violence???
All I pray for is that NATO & America go bankrupt & lose power (which I believe is coming in the near future).
With this prayer I am sure there will be more peace in the world & a chance to reassess the importance of a human life.

As charming and idealist as your post is, have you ever heard of Realpolitik? You know, that guiding principle which pretty much every single country's foreign policy is guided by? You may "pray" that Western civilisation collapses, which you predict will happen soon (if the Western world went through two World Wars and a great depression, they can make it through a slightly overzealous debt crisis caused by crappy public financial policy which can be progressively revoked without much hassle if certain people get their act going), but what difference will that make? Another power will attempt to exert their own influence and do it's best to change the course of direction into their favour, whether it's Russia or China or the f-ing Cayman Islands. And hey, if they're successful and if their people are happy, who would be complaining about it?
Seriously, look at how many lives have been lost to politics throughout human history. You think anybody really cares? If human life was so valuable, wouldn't humanity simply drop everything and go back to living like nomads? No, we're a selfish, egoistic species, and anyone who says otherwise is deluded. At the end of the day, God will make the final judgement on our souls, but if you want to succeed at life, you've got to learn how to play the game... Same with countries and their foreign policy. If you have nothing valuable to offer to the world economy and political order, you just gotta hope that you're on the positive end of the stick.
Now, THAT'S change you and I can pray for - THAT I can see progressing. If Serbia get any further in EU integration and realign themselves to a slightly more Western standpoint, the broader West will see less need to use the Albanians as pawns in their geopolitical play to counter Russian (via Serbian) influence in the Balkans. I mean, Serbia may have to lick some ass, but, would you rather be materially successful through some sycophancy, or be miserly and complaining about everything, blaming others and sticking close to your "principles" like Serbs love to do?
Anywho, that was a bit unrelated. Condolences to the family of the bloke who lost his life - I don't for a second buy the Albanian tripe that they were stealing some doors or whatever. I mean, pot, meet kettle.

Each time NATO fails to remove the barricades we have a shooting of a few Serbs with one of them dying. It doesn't show only Albanian nationalism, but it uncovers their understanding of 'rule of law'. But what do you expect from a pre-democratic clan based society where vendetta is considered a normal and natural thing and where the basic principle of justice is 'an eye for an eye' and to protect criminals within the clan? I only hope Mr FREEDOM is not representative for the majority of Albanians in Kosovo.
Albanians always find excuses to why serbs are being killed in Kosovo and why their property is being stolen and destroyed. One thing you should know: no one believe an albanian.
Another waste of life regardless of it's ethniticity. When will common sense prevail and the two peoples that have lived together for hundreds of years draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough.
This is a logical consequence of the KFOR actions. By chosing the side of the Albanians KFOR destroys the balance of power and raises on the Albanian side the impression that they can do whatever they want without negative consequences. Thaci was even rewarded for his violent grab at the border posts! Can you have a better precedent?

We have not had social networking websites for very long and the freedom of information & increased transparency are allowing the world to be uniformly educated at an exponential rate.
