Russia, Vatican establish diplomatic ties

I dont like it but I trust Putin. The Vatican isnt the natural friend of the Orthodox Slavic World but I think they can be controlled in the New Millenium & I trust Putin's wisdom. However, I NEVER want to see our Church mix with their 'church'.

You must be aware that the Russian Orthodox Church knows only one sister Christian Church. And it is the Catholic Church. All the rest ( Baptists , Adventists , Anglicans , Lutherans , Yegova Witnesses ect.) in Moscow are considered just as heretic sects. From this point of view Putin is right to send his deputy to Vatican. Also this German Pope is quite different from what we had to witness for 25 years. And Vatican also stopped their intrusion to the Russian Orthodox Territories. So I guess this visit could spoil nothing especially with the Orthodox Encyclopedia presented by Medvedev. We cannot afford sustaining from such contacts for another millennium I guess.

The Vatican has committed some dreadful acts in the name of God and the true Church. I don’t have to list them for Serbs because there are many, but one that we are all familiar with is Jasenovac. About 600 Franciscan Friars from Croatia/Bosnia were listed as war criminals after WW2. I think that says it all.
I will never forget the moment in the mid 1990s when Pope John Paul 2 was asking Bill Clinton “what he waiting for? Why doesn’t he destroy Satan” – well if you can’t guess who he meant, it was the Serbs. Now that the Catholic Church is feeling the pinch with the Muslim onslaught in Italy, it is now asking for brotherly love from its “other half”.
The Anglicans have helped Serbs at every turn and never, ever forget this fact. Where our numbers were small and we did not have a Church they have allowed us to marry in their Churches with our Priests and we have buried our dead in their cemeteries. It was the Anglicans that have shown Serbs brotherly love in foreign lands and this fact should never be forgotten and repaid with kindness at the right time.
The Vatican sees that the time are changing and new masters are taking over so it’s eager to come under its umbrella and protection as it did with the western powers. However, this time it’s different. There will be big changes made before any hand of cooperation is extended and that starts with the Croats – the Vatican’s full and complete confession about WW2 and public apology; and the Pope crawling on his knees at Jasenovac begging for forgiveness to the 800,000 that were murdered by Catholic Croats.
Then and just then maybe we can sit at the same table.
