now I understand better why Montenegrian government has to recognize Kosovo UDI.

I have other ideas. They don't "have to". They "can play games". Look at the past of Đukanović. Wiki, Google are a good tool. He is an "ex"-commie. And not just "pro-forma-commie", he is a very serious communist, a seasoned marxist-leninist (= mafiosi)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milo_Dukanovic

"Actively tagging along with somewhat more seasoned Communist League members like Momir Bulatović and Svetozar Marović, Đukanović was still only 26 years old when the trio effectively gained power through full institutional control in Montenegro on January 10, 1989. They forced out the old Montenegrin communist guard by riding the wave of an anti-bureaucratic revolution, an administrative putsch within the Communists League orchestrated by Slobodan Milošević and the state security apparatus.

Effectively, Đukanović, Bulatović, and Marović became Milošević's extended hands in Montenegro, controlling the political and security apparatus he was in the finishing stages of molding to his personal preferences"

You probably know now the answer. If tomorrow he will do somewhat about not-recognizing Kosovo or just the opposite, recognize Kosovo: there is nothing to cheer for either Serbs or Albanians. His actions have nothing to do with Crna Gora, all what we can do is to hope, one day he will be in prison.

BTW: look at his counterparts CV and compare...

now I understand better why Montenegrian government has to recognize Kosovo UDI. Mr.Djukanovic & co. being pressed against the wall for the criminal charges and the only way not to get behind the bars would be to remain in power indefinitely.
And finally, what does a smuggler of cigarettes give a darn for the rule of the international law that Serbia is trying to pursue?
It seems that Montenegrian government indeed has lot more in common with K-Albanian government Tachi and Haradinaj.Once all of them will sit in jail and that time is coming soon.

Who's the smuggler now?

Greetings, AO,

That's a very good question. All authorities would easily agree, all of us are smugglers. And they also easily agree how to punish us for that "extra" laptop or some "extra" cash across the border. Apparently, people are equal, but some (like Milo Đukanović) are just more equal. Nothing new.

Milo has come to Italy to clarify his position some months ago and he left our country with a smile so...
i think that his position is now safe..he also met with Mr.Fini he told him to wait to apply to Eu membership...Dukanovic has been very sensitive to this request...

> Italy's ANSA news agency reports that charges will not be filed against Đukanović himself, "owing to his diplomatic immunity".

Djukanovic had better make sure he wins the next election. Now what was that about recognising K-albanian 'pseudo-state' again?

This all sounds pretty awful and does not improve the image. And what happens if he loses his immunity, is he now safe forever or there could be a trouble later?
